Transformative Therapy for You

Whether you’re coming to therapy to quiet the noise of anxiety, navigate the fog of depression, face a difficult transition, unpack long-held trauma, explore a "mid-life awakening," or simply grow into the next version of yourself—you’re in the right place.

Every day, I work with smart, successful professionals helping them get unstuck. That stuckness can manifest in feeling trapped in their jobs or relationships, or stuckness in old habits that aren’t working so well anymore.

When most people start thinking about therapy its usually after many years of trying to fix the problem themselves. Maybe you’ve sought out advice from people in your life, read a book or two or tried other forms of healing. There is a good chance that you have never experienced therapy before. Or maybe you have but it just didn’t go as well as you expected it to.

The busy professionals I see often describe difficulty sleeping, trouble concentrating, and feeling low motivation in the daily grind of their work. They describe too many competing demands, a hard time saying no, or having difficulty making time for the things that matter most to them.

Many of the people I work with come in saying that they feel at any given point they are either succeeding in life or in work, but that it's hard to do both well at the same time. This is especially true with the new parents I see, who are struggling to make room for their new responsibilities and identity while also keeping up with work, their relationship, and areas of life that are important to them.

If this sounds like you, you have come to the right place.

I use empirically supported psychotherapy tools to help you understand why you got to where you are, and how to break free of old stories you have about what is and isn’t possible. This understanding fuels the actionable change you want to make in your life.

A Practical, Structured Approach—With Room for Deep Growth

My approach is interdisciplinary. Drawing on attachment theory, internal family systems, and classical models of psychotherapy, we develop understanding of why you got to where you are, and how to break free of old stories you have about what is and isn’t possible.

This understanding fuels the actionable change you want to make in your life. Drawing on nonviolent communication, techniques for developing self esteem, tools for decision making, practices for re-connecting to your passion, among others, you will engage in small experiments trying on new ways of being, ultimately, stepping into a version of yourself that you feel proud to be.

We will begin with the here and now. Your history will emerge and inform our work as needed, but the work begins immediately with where you are today.

What You Can Expect to Gain

While your original reason for seeking therapy may be the focus, many clients find that along the way they also:

  • Develop greater emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills

  • Clarify their values and deepen their sense of purpose

  • Learn how to navigate conflict, boundaries, and self-expression

  • Cultivate a more compassionate and empowered relationship with themselves

Therapy That Moves Beyond Medication

While medication is a vital and helpful tool for many people, it’s not the only path to healing. My approach offers cutting-edge, empirically-backed alternatives that support meaningful change without relying on pharmaceuticals. You’ll learn how to work with your nervous system, bio-mechanics, thought patterns, and behavioral responses in ways that promote natural regulation, vitality, and clarity.
